In response to a question on the process for claiming the general allowance, the following information was received by the COA:
“As per your e-mail to Commander Silverthorn, I can confirm that no action on the part of the COA or Commissioned Officers is required in relation to the General Allowance. CDB has confirmed that OSS staff are currently working on implementation of the allowance. In accordance with the terms of the COA MOA, OSS is tracking toward paying it out during the first pay period in December of this year.”
