On Friday May 12th, 2017 the COA Board of Directors held a meeting in Toronto. Among many agenda items, the proposed OPP COA Memorandum of Agreement (2015-2018) was discussed at length. I am pleased to advise you that over the next several weeks, each active COA member will receive in the mail a copy of the proposed MOA, a covering letter, a document of comparator Senior Officer Associations in the Province of Ontario, as well as a ratification ballot with instructions.
Within the covering letter you will find details of four (4) informational conference calls, scheduled to afford each active COA member the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification on the proposed MOA before voting. During this ratification process, please don’t hesitate to contact your respective Director, any Board member or any Executive member should you have any questions.
